Tasi Afitu
Tasi developed a passion for travel after spending an AFS year in Quebec as an exchange student in 1984 and is well & truly hooked! She thrives on providing outstanding customer service and developing a rapport with her clients and the challenge of working on intricate itineraries and researching new destinations.
Tasi has been in the travel industry for almost 20 years now and has specialised in such niche destinations as Africa, Antarctica, South America, Southeast Asia, China, North America, Central Asia, Europe, the Pacific Islands, Australia and the Middle East. In fact, in 1997 she took a year off to live and work in Turkey as a tour leader on the Fez Hop On Hop Off Bus. She has been very fortunate to have travelled to most of the above destinations in some form or another.
She firmly believes that travel is good for the soul and for those fortunate to partake in the experience, it is never truly enough! As for choosing a favourite destination there’s something about every country whether you’ve visited it once, twice or several times that you can always take away with you each time!
When not at work she can be found out and about with her fiance, 3 boys and 2 dogs, loves fine wine and good food and due to that fact should be doing lots more exercise to counter measure!
